More than a place, a memory
I create photos and short films for hotels, private homes and family-friendly places to stay. Content each place can then use on its website, its social media and in its press kit.
I choose places I genuinely like — a strong identity, a real atmosphere, details that don't need to be staged.
No selfies, no staged scenes. The place comes first — never me.
I stay behind the camera. What I show: the place, the gestures, the small moments of a real stay.
Making each place our own, one memory at a time.
Each film follows the rhythm of the place — luminous, quiet, or suspended.
A single morning in a house that doesn't need to perform. Stone arches, light moving slowly across the table, the sea in the distance.
Filmed over one stay. The name of the place is withheld at its owners' request.
Villa Livo — a wooden cabin at the edge of a frozen lake. Fire inside, snow outside, silence all around.
The kind of stay you still talk about, years later.
A cabin on stilts, clinging to the mountainside. Steam rising from the spa into the cool air, a suspended net for reading, larches and silence at every window.
You climb up for the view — you remember the calm.
Photos and films made for the place — and ready for it to use.
Interiors, details, landscapes — in natural light. Photos that show what staying there really feels like.
Vertical films for Instagram and TikTok, edited with restraint. Ready to publish on your own channels.
Everything I deliver can be used by the property — website, social media, newsletters, press. Clear, simple usage rights from the start.
I'm Elsa. I live in the South of France and travel with my husband and our two boys.
I photograph and film hotels, family homes and places with character. I prefer to stay behind the camera: what you see is the place, the activities and the small details that make a stay memorable.
Elsa V. — Founder, Somewhere Real Travel
What Elsa captured at Villa Livo is exactly the kind of editorial work that helps places like ours communicate what they really offer. Her approach is quiet, deeply considered, and never intrusive. She doesn't perform the stay — she observes it, then translates it into images that hold the atmosphere of the cabin and the forest around it.
I'm available for a few family stays between 22 July and 8 August 2026, in France, Switzerland, Italy or Austria. Flexible dates, from 3 to 7 nights — including last-minute openings and cancellations.
